Personal data is any kind of information that, to some extent, can be attributed to you. When you use our website, we collect and process a range of personal data. This happens, for example, if you sign up for our newsletter, participate in competitions or surveys, or make purchases via the webshop.

PERSONAL DATA

Newsletter
To sign up for the newsletter, we collect personal data. You enter this personal data yourself when you sign up for the newsletter. This includes your first name (and last name if you enter it) and your email address. You will then receive an email where you must specifically confirm that you wish to receive our newsletter.

You can always unsubscribe or correct your information via the link at the bottom of each email. We take good care of your data and delete it if the newsletters cease. We never share your data but store it securely with the newsletter service MailChimp, which is not allowed to use it for its own purposes. MailChimp is an American company (i.e., located in a third country) approved under GDPR to securely handle data at an adequate level of protection.

Webshop
When you make a purchase, we also collect some personal data. This typically includes name, address, phone number, email address, and payment information. This happens via Shopify (a third country approved under GDPR to securely handle data at an adequate level of protection) and for use in E-conomic, so we can send you an invoice. This information is stored for 5 years to comply with bookkeeping and accounting legislation.

Videos
For embedded content from other websites, such as YouTube videos, it works the same way as if you visited the specific page. These external sites can collect information about your behavior on www.sleepbag.dk via cookies or third-party tools and track them if you are logged into that service.

Testimonials
On our materials and website, names and profile pictures or pictures of the child in testimonials will be available to the public.

If you have given consent for us to use your testimonial and image, and you wish to have your testimonial corrected or deleted, you can always contact us at info@sleepbag.dk or send a message on Facebook or Instagram and ask us to remove it.

Sharing images on social media
We always ask for your permission before reposting your image on Facebook or Instagram. In the same message, we refer to our privacy and data policy. If you agree to this, you also confirm that you understand that we will reproduce your user or real name in connection with the sharing of the image, and that we will use the image of your child/you in the relevant post. We use the image as inspiration for our followers, showcasing the product, and thereby marketing Sleepbag. The post may be promoted to achieve a wider reach.

The most recently posted images from Instagram are also displayed on our front page at https://www.sleepbag.dk.

If at a later time you no longer wish for your image and name/username to appear on our profile, you can always contact us at info@sleepbag.dk or send a message on Facebook or Instagram and ask us to remove it.

Photos from events, courses, arrangements, and fairs
If we take photos or videos at events, courses, arrangements, and fairs, we will request your written permission to use these images for targeted marketing of Sleepbag if you and your child appear and are recognizable in the photos.

Questions and complaints via email and social media
If you send an email with personal data, such as name, address, phone number, or photos, we assess on a case-by-case basis whether we need to save the email for later processing or if we can delete it immediately after the correspondence has ended.

You always have the option to access the data we have about you and to have it deleted if we do not have a reason to save it as history, for example, in connection with a complaint. You do this by contacting us at info@sleepbag.dk.

Google Analytics
We typically collect and process the following types of information via Google Analytics: A unique ID and technical information about your computer, tablet or smartphone, your IP number, geographical location, and which pages you click on.

To the extent that you give your consent and enter the information yourself, the following are also processed: Name, phone number, email, address, and payment information. This will typically be in connection with signing up for a newsletter or making a purchase.

Applications
If you send us an unsolicited application, we recommend that you limit the amount of personal data to the absolute minimum necessary. If we are unable to employ you or have you as an intern, we will ask for permission to save the application for 6 months. After this, it will be deleted from our email and server. You always have the option to contact us if you want insight into what personal data we have about you.

PAYMENT

Payment cards
Payment for products or courses via payment card occurs via a secure SSL connection.

MobilePay

If you pay with MobilePay, your name + phone number are provided for payment identification and registration to guarantee the purchased products. Other terms may apply when using MobilePay in accordance with MobilePay Denmark A/S's personal data policy.

GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION (GDPR)
Sleepbag's processing of personal data complies with the current requirements, including security requirements, derived from the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as well as related executive orders and guidelines. Sleepbag will not process the user's personal data unless there is a legitimate need for it. Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties beyond what has already been described.

The user can obtain information about, correct, or delete information about the user that is processed by Sleepbag by requesting it. This is done by sending an email to info@sleepbag.dk.

COOKIES

If you contact us by email, we store your information and content in emails with the purpose of being able to communicate with you in the future and to document the correspondence later.

PURPOSE
The information is used to identify you as a user to be able to deliver the services and products you have requested, such as sending a newsletter. In addition, we use the information to optimize our services and content.

STORAGE PERIOD
The information is stored for the period allowed by law, and we delete it when it is no longer necessary. The period depends on the nature of the information and the reason for storage. It is therefore not possible to state a general timeframe for when information is deleted.

DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
Data about your use of the website, which advertisements you receive and possibly click on, geographical location, gender and age segment, etc., are disclosed to third parties, to the extent that this information is known. You can see which third parties are involved in our Cookies Policy, which is also available on our website. The information is used for marketing targeting.

We also use a number of third parties for the storage and processing of data. These process information solely on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.
